Let's talk a little about what is under the hood of the GRT!

The control layout is Volume, Tone, and a 5way switch (which is purposefully bent). The tone pot is a push pull which allows the selection of vintage vs modern output. The 5way has all your classic t-style positions at 1, 3, and 5(respectively standard t-style). Position 2 offers a more pronounced bass response, and position 4 gives you that classic 'in between' sound which offers a boosted midrange. All of these tones have two flavors depending on if the tone control is up or down. Down provides a vibey vintage type sound, when in the Up position it offers a slightly more robust more powerful modern output.

Moving on to pickups!

In the neck we have the L-90. This pickup is the one that started it all. It is our take on a p90. But don't be mistaken this is no ordinary off the shelf p90. This pup was designed to be warm and powerful yet still articulate and clear. It is every bit of just that! We actually designed and made our own bobbins for this pup in order to dial in exactly the tone we desired.

Onto the bridge pickup. We have lovingly dubbed the flatpole. This pup is as classic as it gets modeled after Pete's personal 51 nocaster pickup, with a twist.  It shifts from classic bite almost lap steely type tones, to a velvety much thicker but still bitey overdrive your amp type of tone.

This guitar takes pedals extremely well, and diversifies any gain driven effect. It's almost like having 2 fuzzes!  As with any tone words will never accurately describe it. This guitar really needs to be experienced to be believed and will keep your other instruments on the sideline.

The tonal flexibility that it offers is truly unmatched in any t-style we have encountered before. Which is exactly what we intended to do! Make a guitar that absolutely crushes your amplifier when desired but also provides the classic tones we have all come to love for the past 70 years.
